Art of Us is THIS SATURDAY!!! Buy your tickets here.
Last but not least of the Art of Us dancer spotlight is KJ Estudillo! The Art of Us showcase is a fundraiser for our Project PEARLS dance summit (click to read more) and KJ is one of the choreographers we’re bringing to the Philippines!
A little more about KJ…
At the age of 9, KJ started dancing hip hop for the Golden State Warrior’s Jr. Jam Squad where his dance career began. After dancing for the JJS for 5 years, he was signed by Bloc Talent Agency in LA along with his twin sister, Caitlin. From there, he started assisting dance conventions like The Pulse On Tour for choreographers Brian Friedman, Dave Scott, Tyce Diorio, Chris Judd, Nappytabs and Marty Kudelka to name a few. KJ was also featured dancing in the fashion show Macy’s Passport for 3 years under the direction of Brian Friedman. During the Macy Passport shows, he danced along side the Jabbawockeez, the Harajuku Girls and Brian Friedman. He also graduated from UC Berkeley in 2015.
Currently, KJ teaches a weekly advance urban choreo class at Full Out Studios in Oakland and dances for The Company in Daly City. This will be his 3rd time to the Philippines as he’s gone in previous years for medical missions.
KJ is excited to give back his passion of dance to the children of the Philippines and we are excited to have him part of this project! Learn more about him and get a peek of what he’s bringing to Art of Us and the Philippines.
