Oh, 2014. You did us well.
I’m not sure if I would believe anyone if they told me last year that we would begin rooting ourselves into Oakland, host an event with firefighters, or create a pop-up shop for FAME.
2013 was a re-launch of the brand and 2014 stabled the foundation made the previous year. With this year coming to an end, we have a clearer vision of who we are and what we want to do for all of you.
This year brought us new friends and opportunities
collaborations with old friends
lots of adventures
and a whole lot of love
Thank you to all the love and support this past year! We can’t wait to continue building this Empire for you.
Here are messages from the rest of the team:
For this past 2104 Empire year, I’m thankful for all the new friends I’ve met, all the late night preparing and the early morning drives to our location, and how successful everything turned out! Pretty much I’m just very thankful for all the time spent with the Empire team! And for this coming new year, all I’m looking forward to is more memories and more adventures that we will make with the team! 🙂
I absolutely loved working with Empire In The Air as their Summer 2014 Intern. Working with the Empire team I had the full behind the scenes experience. Given that opportunity, I am forever grateful for being able to witness what hard work, passion and time can do for a brand—for anything you set your mind to. It’s time to keep building that empire of ours!! I definitely can’t wait for what 2015 will bring us~Stay tuned!!Love, Ann
Highlights of 2014 that I am most grateful for is the opportunity to shoot and release Empire in the Air’s first magazine issue! After working a 9-5 photography job, shooting lost its luster for a while, but with Empire I am always able to express myself freely and creatively. Being able to shoot “Head in the Clouds” was my proudest collection yet and keeps me excited for what’s in store for 2015. We’ll be releasing our 2nd and 3rd Empire issue in 2015 and I can’t wait to shoot the new Lookbooks. 2015 here we come!
I’m thankful for the Bay Area continuing to be our biggest support system. I really don’t know what to expect for 2015, but I know it’s going to be a good one.
