Jaw-Dropping and Vibrant Colors

The rich food, the art, and the ambience of Seattle constantly reminded me of my mother during my January trip. I was certain that I would return with her.

Nine months later, here we are.

We decided to take it easy our first day by visiting the two peaceful must-sees: the Chihuly Garden & Glass Museum and the Space Needle.

I know I visited both before but being with my mother made the experience new regardless.

She was quite adorable in the Chihuly. She combined jaw-drops with mutterings of How?! in every single room.

If you visited before, I’m sure you understand why. Chihuly’s complex nature-inspired sculptures are unbelievable.

No photo will ever do this room justice. Can your mind wrap around the fact that these brilliant blooms are glass?

Then there’s the 360 degree Seattle view available at the top of the Space Needle Tower
… in which my mom challenged me to race around lol

Peaceful, indeed.
