Haight Street: The Free Access Gallery

Just as I was in the middle of hoping for inspiration this summer, hella clothing lines are overflowing with fresh art. I follow a handful of streetwear founders on instagram and lemme tell you, following them not only comes in handy (with exclusive sneak-peeks) but its also inspiring because the pictures take you under the wings of their brands’ construction.

High five to jaecukui’s instagram for releasing the design of the Cukui x TrueSF collabo shirt. Jaw-dropped, heart melted, t’was love at first sight. The shirt released this past saturday at the grand re-opening of True, Haight Street’s very own household of streetwear.

Not only did the store put Ate Angie and I in awe that day but so did Haight Street itself. The free-spirited culture of San Francisco is beautifully painted throughout this street as if it was a gallery for all of us to access without a price.

I asked God for inspiration and there it was. Haight Street surrounded me with it.
